With the release of the Sony RX1R III, the big question becomes, should you buy it, or the Sony a7CR for less money? My take is simple, the a7CR is less expensive yet way more versitile and powerful of a tool if I was choosing between the two. Of course, you are free to make your own mind up on which camera is right for you. But for me, I want the ability to grow with a camera and not be locked into a box that will never change.
