For years I’ve been hammering home-specific statement when it comes to on-location portraits. “if you’re in Paris at the Eiffel Tower….and you take.a picture in front of it….but you can’t tell you’re in Paris at the Eiffel tower…then what was the point of being in Paris at the Eiffel Tower???”
The point of that statement is to remind you not to shoot the tightest portraits possible, especially when you find yourself in a cool location where the scene can play a part in your photo.
