With the introduction of the Canon EOS R1 and R5 Mark II that both have the digic accelerator processor, Canon’s Auto Focus is the best in the industry. I know some people will say, “how can you make such claims?”. Simple, I’ve used every single camera Canon, Nikon and Sony have put out in the last decade. I’ve used them all in the real world from World Series’s to photographing friends and family, I know.
Canon’s Dual Pixel AF was already the best in the industry, with Sony’s a9 III being the closest to matching AF quality.
